What I LOVE about Barak Obama!
Government takeover of the Healthcare Industry. Spiraling debt. Cap and Trade. Miranda rights for Terrorists. Terror trials in New York City. Government takeover of General Motors, Chrysler and the Banking Industry. Presidential apology tours. Reconciliation.
This why I LOVE President Obama!
Of course I, like you, despise each and every Presidential power grab listed above, but what I love is that Mr. Obama has made it cool to be a real American again. It is cool to love your country and the freedoms that it provides. It is cool to have Conservative values and beliefs. We had become complacent, lounging in our rights and freedoms, but no more. President Obama has reminded us what it really means to be an American.
Prior to Obama taking the White House:
- When was the last time you saw a Gadsden Flag?
- When was the last time you talked about the Constitution with your neighbor?
- When was the last time a co-worker mentioned the Federalist Papers at the water cooler?
- When was the last time you saw somebody dressed up as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson or a Minuteman?
President Obama’s blatant power grabs have reminded Americans what it is to be an American. He has reminded us that we do not want big government telling us what doctors we can see or what treatments we can have. That Americans believe huge debts should not be left for children and grandchildren to pay. That it is immoral for government to unfairly tax businesses based on faulty science and then give those tax dollars to foreign nations. Our President has reminded us that we Americans are granted rights and freedoms provided under the Constitution and not the people who would do America harm and that those who wish to do us harm should not be provided a platform to encourage others to do so. Before last year, we could have never conceived of the Government owning Automakers or Banks. We would not have considered our President bowing to foreign and offering apologies for previous administrations protection our citizens.
And never could we have imagined a President attempting to take over 1/6th of our economy, or that he would do so in a way that violates the rules of Congress and the will of the people.
So once again I want to say thank you Mr. President. You have reminded us what it means to be an American once again. In turn, This November we will remind you what happens when leaders thwart the will of the American people. Thank you Mr. President!
