Media Frenzy as Scott Brown Endorses Tim Burns in PA-12

May 16, 2010

MA Sen. Scott Brown interviewed by KDKA's Jon Delano

It was an absolute media frenzy Friday afternoon as Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown came to Washington PA to endorse PA-12 Congressional Candidate Tim Burns.  AP, Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Conservative Examiner, KDKA TV, WPXI TV all came to hear What Scott Brown had to say about Tim Burns, as did several members of the blogosphere including the Red Dog Report, Stacy McCain from The OTHER McCain and Chris Renner of Renner’s Here.

Brown’s speech drew on many similarities between his victory in Massachusetts and Burns’ current race in Pennsylvania including the pickup-truck, a longtime liberal held seat and an overwhelming voter registration disadvantage.

Another similarity; the call from both Republicans for fiscal responsibility;

“The difference between this Washington (PA) and the one that I just left (Washington DC), the people here are tired of the overspending, the over-taxation, the out of control deficit spending, and in Washington (DC), they just keep printing money.”

Still unexplained; did space aliens or cameraman error cause the video to shut down after just 2 minutes?  Either way, here is the video.

If you were paying close attention, you noticed Stacy McCain (hat) and John LaRosa (unhatted) off to the right hand side of the video.
