Obama Tells Senator Kyl (R-AZ) He’s Holding Border Security Hostage Until Immigration Reform is Passed

June 20, 2010

Senator Jon Kyl

Via RedState, this video from the North Tempe tea Party just might be one of the most disgusting things that you ever hear.

In a private meeting, President Obama admitted to the Arizona Senator;

If we secure the border, then you all won’t have any reason to support comprehensive immigration reform.

Hard to believe, that this President has actually sunken lower than he already was.  To think that the White House would jeopardize American security and lives for Obama’s own political gain is absolutely sickening.

I, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter.

The American people deserve a President not a thug.

    The President of the USA as Commander-in-Chief is in charge of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines, and decides where troops are stationed in order to protect the best interests of the USA, and to protect its citizens from enemies both within and without.

    When the Commander refuses to protect Arizona or a segment of the society from unlawful aggression, peaceful or not, does this presidential act or non-act constitute malfeasance in office; conduct by a public official that cannot be legally justified, or conflicts with the law?

    Willfully, publicly, and openly, for the President to blatantly refuse to enforce valid Federal law, refuse to protect the citizens of any State, is actually a crime. The presidential oath of office “That I will faithfully execute the office of president of the United States” requires protection of the Constitution, not protection FROM the Constitution.

      Yes, I believe you are correct and that is why White House Spokesman Bill Burton has denied that Obama made that statements to Kyl.

      FoxNews Report.

      So basically it comes down to one man’s word against another’s. Of the two, I know which one I believe.

      Expect Kyl to suffer some serious attacks from the left today.
