Interview With Star Parker (R-Cand, CA-37)

June 22, 2010

Star Parker (R-Cand, CA-37)

In some Congressional races, the differences between candidates are so minuscule that it is hard to make a clear distinction between the two contenders.  In other races, the contrast is much clearer.

California’s 37th Congressional District is an example of the latter.

Rep. Laura Richardson (D,CA-37) may not make many headlines for her work in Congress, but she does receives plenty of attention for her business dealing outside the hallowed halls.  Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington has named Richardson one of the 15 Most Corrupt Members of Congress.

Rep. Richardson’s ethics issues stem from accepting favorable loans and her failure to properly report a loan on her financial disclosure statements.

Star Parker, on the other hand, pulled herself out of welfare and poverty and now works to help others in her district achieve the American dream.  Parker is a refreshing new voice in California who, although she faces an uphill climb, has the plan and the drive needed to put California back to work again.

Check her out.

Just heard Star Parker on Fox regarding minimum wage. She is one of the few who understand what the president’s stimulus package did – delay the inevitable. Am 63 years old and applaude young Ms. Parker for speaking the truth.

Yes, she’s an impressive woman with sharp political mind. She’s going to go far.
