As the first Black Republican elected to congress since reconstruction, JC Watts knows what it takes to get elected to Congress under the GOP banner.

This cycle there are 32 African American Republicans running for Congress.  Of them, Watts gives 4 or 5 of them have a very good chance of getting elected.

Watts mentions Tim Scott (who won his primary runoff last night), Alan West (FL-22) and Bill Hardiman (MI-03) as 3 of the strongest candidates.
